P O R T F O L I O M A N A G E R
The OWL Personal Portfolio Manager requires a graphics
monitor/adapter and supports the following graphics standards: CGA,
EGA, HERCULES, VGA, and PC3270. In order to install the software,
follow the procedure listed below which is appropriate for your disk
configuration.
DUAL FLOPPY INSTALLATION
Boot your system as you normally do. With your DOS disk in Drive A:
type the following command.
A>DISKCOPY A: B:
When prompted, insert the OWL Personal Portfolio Manager distribution
diskette in Drive A and a blank disk in Drive B. When the copy is
completed label this new disk "OPPM Working Copy".
HARD DISK INSTALLATION
Boot your system as you normally do. Place the OWL Personal
Portfolio Manager distribution diskette in Drive A. Type the
following commands:
C>MKDIR OPPM
C>CD OPPM
C>COPY A:*.*
C>MD DEMODATA
C>CD DEMODATA
C>COPY A:\DEMODATA\*.*
SINGLE FLOPPY DISK INSTALLATION:
Boot your system as you normally do. You will need two blank
formatted disks. With your DOS disk in Drive A type the following
command.
A>DISKCOPY A: B:
Follow the screen prompts for when to insert the source disk (OWL
Personal Portfolio Manager distribution diskette) and target disk (a
blank disk.) When the copy is completed label the target disk "OPPM
Working Copy".

If you are using a 360k disk drive, you must continue with the
following procedure to provide sufficient disk space for your
personal data on your OPPM Working Copy disk. Label a blank
formatted disk "OPPM User's Guide." Insert your OPPM working copy in
Drive A and type the following command.
A>COPY A:README.* B:
Insert the disk labeled "OPPM User's Guide" when prompted for the
disk for Drive B and your OPPM Working Copy when prompted for the
disk for Drive A. When the copy is completed, insert your OPPM
Working Copy in Drive A and type the following command.
A>DEL README.*
